About

KSPAZE1 (GC Phan, b. 1993, PhD) is a technologist, bboy and artist. His creative journey began with graffiti, character art and cartoon illustrations, with early works featured by Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Mexican artist Adan Cruz.

In 2022 he was featured as launch artist for high-profile GameStop, Dialect and Hyperspace debut, guided many web3 projects as creative director, and joined the first cohort of Avalanche’s Avaissance Artist-in-Residence programme, under the mentorship of artist John Le.

His figurative, introspective illustrations and sculptures explore the human psyche through everyday surroundings, pairing the precision of science and technology with the emotional richness of the human mind. In 2024 he was named one of HUG’s 100 Artists to Watch by a jury from Christie’s and other leading institutions, and won Avalanche’s Digital Art Challenge. His work has been exhibited at Beeple Studios and shown in the United States, Singapore, Australia and Spain.
